1. Kant in one paragraph
- Copy Kant's definition of enlightenment word for word.
- Rewrite it in your own words for a 9th grader.
- List three 'guardians' Kant names and one guardian people rely on today (an app, a feed, an influencer).

2. Two thinkers, one issue
- Choose one contemporary issue (school phone bans, AI in classrooms, voting age, curfews, dress codes).
- Choose one woman philosopher and one thinker of color from the notes.
- Write what each would argue about the issue, one paragraph each, using a concept from their work (double consciousness, capabilities, becoming a woman, just vs. unjust law).
- Write one sentence on where they would agree and one on where they would differ.
Turn in / bring: Two paragraphs plus two sentences — reusable for Forum 5 and the Final Essay.

3. Forums 4 and 5 scaffolds
- Forum 4 (Kant): thesis on whether people today are enlightened in Kant's sense; two reasons with quotes; objection; reply.
- Forum 5 (New Horizons): thesis on one thinker's argument applied to a current issue; fair summary; your reasons; objection; reply.
- Post both before the Week 6 window closes, then reply to classmates on each.
